Osloob, Palestinian rapper, hip hop producer, singer and poet. In his previous albums, he has always invited rappers and musicians from all over the Arab world to tell the stories of this world with him, recreating through hip hop an abandoned Arab unity. In this new album "Dawayer" (circles in Arabic), he invites us to enter the circles of his world, accompanied by 17 musicians and rappers living in Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia or elsewhere. Installed in France for several years, he introduced in this circle, musicians of jazz or traditional Arab music living in Paris, thus creating a surprising music of strength and beauty. The sharp flows of Osloob, Kazz, Gaafar, Jazzar and others, mingle with the lyricism of the voices of Abo Gabi and Lynn Adib, or with the melodies of the flautist Naïssam Jalal or the saxophonist Mehdi Chaib. A magical journey that follows the imaginary circles of the poet. An ambitious first album, with emotional, cinematic and dense music. Between oriental heritage, dreamlike layers, an intensely rock spirit and jazz modulations, an addictive discovery!
